Here at Little Enterprise, we think everybody has what it takes to be an entrepreneur. You might want to start something from home to fit around family, or have recently been made redundant and want to explore new ideas, or you might have left education and you’re completely disenchanted with what’s on offer in the job market. Whatever your situation, we can find a business model to suit you and your needs.

Schools & Colleges

Whilst most schools and colleges are fantastic when it comes to raising funds, here at Little Enterprise we like to take a more sustainable approach. We can work with your students to set up a school based Social Enterprise that could secure a potential long term  funding stream for your setting. In addition to this, we offer the new Social Enterprise Qualification (SEQ) at Bronze and Silver (Level 2) which means all participants can work towards achieving this fantastic business focused qualification.

We will work flexibly with your setting, which could include one off Social Enterprise Taster days, working during the school day, after school clubs and holidays clubs. We can even work with your schools community, running evening classes for adults in setting up a business. Whatever your needs, we have a model to suit and may also be able to help with securing funding to run these sessions. Please contact us for further information.

Community & Youth Groups

Little Enterprise can work collaboratively with your setting to look at Social Enterprise as a funding stream and a career choice. This could be working to help you set up a trading arm for your setting, or with your clients who may want to start their own business. We are particularly keen to work with people who are long-term unemployed, people with additional needs and families where a parent wishes to return to the labor market flexibly to fit in with family life. Also young people not in education, employment or training. We take a very flexible approach to our work, and can offer the Social Enterprise Qualification as an outcome for all participants.

Social Enterprise Qualification

Little Enterprise is a delivery organisation for the Bronze and Silver Social Enterprise Qualification (SEQ). This international qualification is completely flexible and offers participants a fantastic business qualification that will see them learning how to start a business. The qualification covers a variety of business skills including research and development, marketing, finance, getting products to market and evaluation. The qualification is underpinned by core employability skills which will give participants a fantastic boost in terms of securing future employment.
